Description
Submersible pressure transmitters are ideal for level measuring in vessels, waste water systems and wells. The hydrostatic submersible pressure transmitter AF906 determines the level via the hydrostatic pressure of the medium acting on the bottom of the vessel. A pressure of 0.3 bar can be measured and thus corresponds to a water column of 3 mH2O. The AF906 has a 10 m cable with an integrated capillary tube for pressure compensation. The submersible pressure transmitter is suitable for drinking water applications, waste water and aggressive media. The submersible pressure transmitter AF906 has a robust and sealed stainless steel housing and boasts a high-quality finish. The relative pressure measuring cell measures the hydrostatic pressure of the water column and converts it into a 4...20 mA signal. A capillary tube is integrated in the connecting cable and is used for atmospheric pressure compensation. A filter protects the open end of the tube against clogging. The filter and the cap are included in the scope of delivery.
The ends of the cable are ideally assembled in a watertight connection box or directly in the control cabinet. When assembling, make sure the capillary tube is not kinked, otherwise there will be no pressure compensation. Special autosen cable clamps can be used during assembly to prevent this from happening.
