Sprint team Mülheim

The first race day of the 2023 RBL season in Bad Segeberg did not go exactly to plan for Sprintteam Mülheim. It was unable to build on its good performances and finished a disappointing fifth.

Kassel

Two weeks later, the highly motivated team headed to Kassel. And the race day panned out quite differently to the first one. With greater speed and more determination, they secured the long-awaited race-day victory!

Mülheim

One of the highlights of the 2023 season was racing on their home turf in Mülheim. And things could not have gone better – with autosen gmbh on board for the first time and another race-day victory under their belt, the team stormed to the top of the league, all in front of a jubilant home crowd. In fact, it was the perfect debut for autosen gmbh.

Münster

On the fourth race day, Sprintteam Mülheim travelled to the home of the team just one place below them in the league: Arch-enemy Münster. Thankfully, Sprintteam Mülheim managed to complete a hat-trick of victories and cemented their position at the top of the league.

Hamburg

But the season was not over just yet. The RBL final took place in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg. It turned out to be an emotional rollercoaster of a race day for the team. Unfortunately, there was no place on the podium! But the team's excellent and consistent performances throughout the season, with three race-day victories, ensured they accomplished their dream of becoming "LEAGUE CHAMPIONS".

The German Sprint Championships were held in Heidelberg at the end of the rowing season. In addition to various small and medium-sized boats, our team also competed in their eight-oar vessel. In the strong field, the men's eights team flew straight into the final by winning the qualifying race. Unfortunately, the team lost the final to Kölner RV by eight hundredths of a second. A result that nevertheless saw them clinch second place and the runners-up spot in the German Sprint Championship!

"Safe journey and may you always have a hand's width of water under your keel!" The weekend kicked off with the christening of the new boat "minion" for Sprintteam Mülheim. The minion boat will hopefully continue to lead this team to many more successes in the years to come!
