Ultrasonic level sensors

Ultrasonic level sensors are mounted at the top of tanks/ basins and measure the filling level. They emit vertical ultrasonic waves that are reflected at the surface. The distance and thus the filling level are determined using the travel time measurement principle. Ideal for liquids, and to a limited extent bulk materials (cones often form which deflect the waves incorrectly).
