The free io-key® Location Service
Keep an eye on your io-keys® across Europe
The io-key® Location Service shows the current location of your io-keys®. The free service can be activated individually for each io-key®. The location is updated once a day (at midnight).
All io-keys® are clearly displayed on a map, making it easy to navigate to various locations and providing you with a clear overview of the locations where your io-keys® are being used.
A radius display visualises the accuracy of the location information. The location accuracy is determined using a triangulation method from the surrounding cell towers and signal strength measurements. This ensures accuracies of up to approx. 100 metres. Depending on the surroundings and wireless coverage, the accuracy of the location information can deviate by up to several kilometres.
1) Location of the io-keys®: Determined from triangulation and signal strength of the surrounding cell towers. 2) Location accuracy: The accuracy of the location information is indicated by a radius. 3) io-key® online status: The green or grey display shows whether your io-key® is connected and in operation. 4) Sensor online status and direct path to the connected sensor: Click on the connected sensor to access the sensor dashboard. 5) Alarm status: Clear display of alarms and navigation to the alarm.
Activation of the io-key® Location Service in the cloud via self-serviceHow do I activate the Location Service in my autosen.cloud?
Log in to your cloud (yourname.autosen.cloud) and activate the io-key® Location Service individually for each io-key® in self-service. You can activate it yourself under the Device Features tab. The location will then update automatically each day at midnight.
