Description

AS007 is an inexpensive and excellent way to measure flow rates and temperatures in pipes. The measuring range extends from 1.8 to 32.0 l/min for liquid water-based media. A PT1000 element measures the temperature between -25°C and +125°C. The measurements are output as a 4...20 mA signal. The sensor is installed as an inline device with a DN 10 internal diameter and a G ¾ external thread between two pipes. The vortex measuring principle uses vortices whose frequency is proportional to the flow velocity. The measuring principle is not susceptible to soiling and is also suitable for non-conductive water, something that is not possible with magnetic-inductive methods. AS007 can be used for cooling water, hot water and drinking water applications. The sensor is ideal for heating and cooling circuits. Its simple connection and space-saving design allow installation in confined spaces.
