Description

The AS011 is an inexpensive and excellent way to measure flow rates and temperature in pipelines. The sensor is installed as an inline device (DN32) between two pipes with G1 ½ connection. The sensor enables flow measurement with very good accuracy - independent of temperature changes. The measuring range is between 14 and 240 l/min. A temperature measurement between -25°C and +125°C is also integrated. Both measured variables are output as a 4...20 mA signal.

The vortex measuring principle uses turbulence whose frequency is proportional to the flow velocity. The measuring element is insensitive to dirt and is suitable, among other things, for water without conductivity, which is not possible with magnetic-inductive methods. Typical applications are heating and cooling circuits. The extremely robust brass housing is manufactured completely lead-free and is therefore suitable for drinking water requirements.
