Description

The new radar distance sensor MF001, in combination with the minion IoT sensor system, is a powerful industrial sensor for distance and level measurement using radar pulse technology. With a maximum range of 2 meters, high measurement accuracy, and direct internet connectivity, it's ideal for remote level monitoring, distance measurement, and object detection applications. The sensor measures the distance from the contact surface as well as reflection quality, and is easily configurable for numerous applications via the cloud with just a few clicks. The compact design of the minion IoT sensor enables easy installation almost anywhere using the included adhesive strip or the mounting adapter (available from May 2025). Thanks to its robust IP65/IP67-rated housing, the radar sensor is protected against dust, water jets, and temporary immersion in water. Its wide operating temperature range of -25 to 65 °C makes it ideally suited for harsh industrial environments. The MF001 radar sensor integrates seamlessly into the minion IoT sensor system, providing easy cloud connectivity for remote monitoring and data analysis.
