Description

The new MD001 analog sensor adapter, in combination with the minion IoT sensor system, is a powerful process value transducer for up to two 4–20 mA analog signals.

It enables precise acquisition and digital processing of analog sensor data and is especially suitable for IoT retrofit applications of existing field sensors. Thanks to its power supply via the minion battery, networking is possible completely independent of existing infrastructure.

With its IP65/IP67-rated housing, the MD001 is protected against dust, water jets, and temporary immersion in water, making it optimized for use in demanding industrial environments. The integrated 12V DC power supply enables direct powering of connected sensors with a maximum current consumption of 21 mA.

The MD001 adapter is fully integrable into the minion IoT ecosystem and enables cloud-based monitoring and analysis. A default measurement interval of 1 hour is preconfigured at the factory, which can be flexibly adjusted.
