Overview
- Retro-reflective sensor in rectangular design with M12 connector (3-pin)
- Sensing range 0.1...8 m
- 2 outputs: OUT1 darf switching/ OUT2 light switching
- Potentiometer for adjusting the sensitivity for small objects
- Best suited for the detection of highly reflective objects - thanks to the combination of polarising filter and triple mirror
Description
The AO040 optical sensor is a retro-reflective sensor with a polarising filter that is used in combination with a reflector. The advantage over retro-reflective sensors is that the probability of faulty switching due to highly reflective objects in the environment is minimised. Only the light that is reflected back and polarised by the reflector is detected by the sensor. The AO040 provides reliable object detection up to 8 metres and has two antivalent switching outputs. Light and dark switching applications can be solved with one unit.Technical data AO040
