Description

The AO029 dark switching retro-reflective photoelectric switch with high-quality plastic housing combines reliability and very high range with the best price/performance ratio. It offers a cost-effective alternative to optical reflex light barriers with metal housing, while the high degree of protection IP67 is guaranteed. Thanks to fixed settings, the device is immediately ready for operation after convenient connection via an M12 plug connection. The cylindrical plastic housing in M18 thread design allows easy installation by screwing in. This makes the AO029 perfect for use in conveyor and handling technology.

The AO029 combines transmitter and receiver in one housing. The transmitter emits red light that falls on a suitable triple mirror. The receiver detects the reflected light and switches. A maximum range of 2.5 m is achieved. The AO029 is easy to align thanks to the highly visible light spot, whose diameter is 200 mm at maximum range. The receiver has a polarization filter that only allows light reflected by the triple mirror to pass through. This prevents faulty switching by other reflective surfaces.
