Overview
- Retro-reflective sensor in rectangular design with M8 connector (4-pin)
- Sensing range 0.05...7 m
- 2 switching outputs light and dark on (antivalent)
- Thanks to the polarisation filter, the probability of incorrect switching due to highly reflective objects in combination with a prismatic reflector is minimised; making it ideally suited for detecting highly reflective objects
- Protection rating IP67
Description
The AO044 retro-reflective sensor features an especially compact rectangular design that offers advantages in applications with constrained installation conditions. The retro-reflective sensor must be operated in combination with a reflector and achieves long ranges from 0.05 … 7 m – regardless of the colour of the object being detected. The AO044 can be set intuitively at the touch of a button – saving time and costs when it is put into operation. The sensor is suitable for light and dark on operation because it has two antivalent switching outputs that can be inverted when desired. The sensitivity can be adapted for very small objects in the teach process or via IO-Link.Thanks to the practical design and versatile functions, the AO044 retro-reflective sensor is an outstanding solution with an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
