The AO024 diffuse reflection sensor has an especially compact rectangular design and features exceptionally interference-proof background suppression ensuring reliable operation even with strongly reflective backgrounds. It is especially suitable for use where space is limited.

The AO024 is set intuitively via potentiometer – whilst light-on and dark-on modes can easily be selected via a rotary switch. This reduces costs and the time required during setting up. Irrespective of the colour of the object to be detected the AO024 has a very long range of 2…200 mm. With M8 connector.

There is also an alternative version of the AO024, namely the AO001 , with a stainless steel housing and IP69K protection rating. The AO001 is suitable for use in hygiene-sensitive and wet zones.
