DescriptionRetro-reflective sensor from autosen with polarisation filter, M12x1 metal thread – light-on/dark-on mode programmable and function check output The retro-reflective sensor autosen AO010 in threaded design is used in combination with a reflector (autosen prismatic reflector AA950/AA951). The optical red light transmitter and receiver are integrated in the metal housing. The position sensor features a polarisation filter. The decisive advantage of the use of a retro-reflective sensor with polarisation filter in combination with a prismatic reflector is that the probability of incorrect switching by highly reflective objects (e.g. reflective vests etc.) is minimised. The prismatic reflector focusses the light, turns it by 90° and then reflects it. The polarisation filter ensures that only this focussed light beam causes switching of the sensor. Even highly reflective metal objects can be detected since their reflection cannot pass the polarisation filter.
