Description

The AO907 photoelectric fork sensor with a fork width of 50 mm is ideal for use in dirty environments. Thanks to the high-energy infrared light, the photoelectric fork sensor is insensitive to dust, mist and coolants. A common application is detecting web edges in dirty environments or inspecting tools in machine tools. However, due to their high insensitivity to dirt, infrared light barriers are not as effective at detecting small objects as red light barriers or laser light barriers.

The AO907 is characterised by its simple installation; the transmitter and the receiver are already correctly aligned within the housing. The device works reliably even under mechanical load and in fluctuating temperatures. Sensitivity and output function are adjustable via two potentiometers. The photoelectric fork sensor comes with protection rating IP67 and is resistant to coolants and emulsions.
