Description
The compact AR005 speed monitor is used to reliably monitor rotating and linear movements with regard to underspeed and blocking. Ensure perfect operation of your lifts, conveyor belts and other applications. The AR005 operates like an inductive sensor, contactless and wear-free – maintenance is therefore not necessary.The compact speed monitor in a cylindrical design with an M30 metal thread has a high protection rating of IP69K and operates with a fixed sensing range of 10 mm. The measuring range of the AR005 is 5 … 3,600 pulses per minute. The threshold that causes the device to switch can be set as normal via a multiturn potentiometer or optionally with IO-Link. Further, normally open/normally closed function and PNP/NPN switching can be parameterised. Additional functions, such as start-up delay and background suppression, can also be set with IO-Link.
Operation of the speed monitor without IO-Link is possible and is called SIO operation (Single Input Single Output). However, setting the said functions requires an IO-Link interface.
