DescriptionUse the compact AR004 evaluation unit to reliably monitor rotating and linear movements. The unit utilises the inductive measuring principle to efficiently and reliably detect underspeed or movement blocking. Maintenance is not necessary thanks to the contactless and wear-free measuring principle.
The speed monitor has a fixed sensing range of 3.5 mm and can be optionally operated as normally open or normally closed. The setting range for the limit value is 5 … 24,000 pulses per minute and can be set conveniently via IO-Link. The unit has a cylindrical housing with an M12 metal thread and a very high protection rating of IP69K.
The start-up delay prevents faulty switching when starting a machine. If the sensor is pre-dampened in the installation position by the environment, background suppression enables trouble-free operation of the unit. The said functions can also be set comfortably with IO-Link.
