Description

Diffuse reflection sensor AO018 is designed for reliable position detection irrespective of the colour and gloss of the object surface. The transmitter and the receiver are contained in the same housing and work with red light, which is particularly suitable for detecting slender and small objects. AO018 is a light-on sensor with a range of 1 … 30mm, adjustable background suppression and is IO-Link compatible. All the parameters are set via the IO-Link master with the corresponding software autosen:io .

The space-saving and compact design of the diffuse reflection sensor is outstanding and it comes with a high protection rating of IP67. The sensor has a three-wire 30cm long cable, which facilitates installation and connection in confined spaces. At the end of the cable there is a connector measuring M8 in diameter.
