- Laser diffuse reflection sensor with visible laser light (laser protection class 1)
- Particularly fail-safe background suppression that works reliably even with highly reflective backgrounds
- Sensing range 1...100 mm
- Light-on/Dark-on mode can be easily set via programming buttons or parameterised via IO-Link
- If the sensor is operated with IO-Link, the distance can also be transmitted as a linearised process value in addition to the normal switching signal
DescriptionThe AL005 diffuse reflection sensor has an especially compact rectangular design and features exceptionally interference-proof background suppression, ensuring reliable operation even with strongly reflective backgrounds. The diffuse reflection sensor uses laser light of laser class 1, which is collimated in a narrow beam and is therefore particularly suitable for detecting very small components.
Light-on and dark-on mode can be set via the programming buttons to configure the sensor according to the application. The AL005 reliably detects the target, irrespective of the colour of the object to be detected, at a range of 1 … 100 mm.
The sensor supplies a normal switching signal. If the sensor is operated with IO-Link, it can also transmit the distance as a linearised process value. Parameterisation of the AL005 is additionally possible with IO-Link.
The AL005 is also available as a red light variant, the AO024.
You will find a detailed technical data sheet as well as accessories suitable for the AL005 further down.
If you have questions regarding the IO-Link parameterization or want to use the parameterization service of autosen, please do not hesitate to contact us. Or start directly with the IO-Link starter kit ADS01.
