Description
The AL004 laser diffuse reflection sensor has an M18x1 metal thread, an M12 connector and a sensing range of 20…200 mm (reference: white paper 200x200 mm, 90% remission).The metal thread ensures a high degree of long-term stability and robustness, which together with the high protection rating of IP65 / IP67 makes the sensor suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The range and light-on / dark-on modes can be set easily via buttons, and a teach function saves time and costs as well as simplifying the sensor set-up.
Correct alignment is facilitated with the aid of visible laser light. With its precise background suppression, long range and high switching frequencies, the sensor can also reliably register very small objects.
The AL004 belongs to laser protection class 1 and therefore also fulfils the requirements of the automotive industry.
The AL004’s scope of supply includes two lock nuts.
