Overview
- Reliable switching up to 3 m/s; the sensitivity can be adapted to the size and material of the objects
- Ideal, e.g., for jam control in feed processes by guiding a hose through the opening that conveys metal parts; the sensor switches every time a part is detected
- Opening diameter: 15.1 mm
- Switchable normally open/ normally closed
- Longer pulses of between 10...150 ms can be set using a potentiometer

Description
The AI069 ring sensor with a ring diameter of 15 mm works much like an inductive sensor. A hose for transporting small metal parts can be fed through the opening. When an object is detected, the sensor is switched. This allows, for example, blockage monitoring to be implemented in a supply process. The sensor switches reliably at speeds of up to 3 m/s. The sensor offers normally-open or normally-closed functions. The sensitivity can be adapted to the size or material of the objects. Longer pulses of between 10 and 150 ms can be set using a potentiometer. The sensor can also be used in harsh industrial environments thanks to the robust IP67 protection and the industrial-grade M12 connector.
