Description
The AI068 ring sensor works using a static approach, much like an inductive sensor. A hose can be fed through the 10 mm open to transport small metal parts. The sensor switches each time an object is detected, which for example can be used to enable blockage detection in a supply process.Reliable switching of the sensor is guaranteed up to a speed of 3 m/s. The sensor offers normally-open or normally-closed functions. The sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted using the potentiometer to match the size and material of the objects. Longer pulses of between 10 and 150 ms can also be set using a potentiometer. The high IP67 protection rating and the M12 connector enable its use in harsh industrial environments.
