Description

The AD009 IO-Link master for IoT applications controls communication between IO-Link devices and the cloud or IoT environment. Data transmission can be TLS-encrypted. The MQTT protocol is used for this and data is generated in JSON format. The master is installed either in a control cabinet or directly in the field.

IO-Link devices are connected with the master via an unshielded sensor cable maximum 20 metres in length. The master ensures digital signal transmission (IO-Link communication, binary inputs and outputs) to the cloud or the IoT environment. The IoT master can be operated and configured with the autosen:io parameter setting software.
