The AF007 level sensor is suitable for leakage monitoring in overspill tubs and as overspill protection in containers. It can be used with water-based coolants, oils, water and media similar to water. The device is not suitable for use in granulates, bulk materials, acids, alkaline solutions or in hygienic and electroplating applications.The device has a probe length of 132 mm, two programmable switching outputs and is able to monitor both level and temperature. Full and empty comparison can be set quickly and easily with an inductive teach button. The sensor is optionally programmable via IO-Link.
The binary level sensor is immersed directly in the medium to be monitored, thus eliminating mechanical components and ensuring especially high reliability. In contrast to mechanical float switches, the sensor cannot become stuck or jammed. This reduces maintenance expense and increases system availability.
