Description

The AF007 level sensor is suitable for leakage monitoring in overflow sumps and as overfill protection in containers. It can be used with water-based cooling lubricants, oils, water and water-like media. The device is not suitable for use in granulates, bulk materials, acids, alkalis and in hygienic and electroplating areas.

The device has a rod length of 132 mm, two programmed switching outputs and can monitor both level and temperature. Full and empty adjustment can be quickly and easily set via inductive teach button. Optionally, the sensor can be programmed via IO-Link.

The binary level sensor is immersed directly in the medium to be monitored and offers particularly high reliability due to the omission of mechanical components. Compared to mechanical float switches, the sensor cannot stick or clamp - this reduces maintenance and increases plant availability.
