Accessories for level sensors

Probes are needed for level sensors that use the guided wave radar technique and ensure reliable registration of the media. The filling level is measured via the probe rod and output as an analogue or switching signal depending on the level sensor. They can be installed easily, quickly and securely.

autosen’s probes are made of robust stainless steel (V4A) for optimal level sensor mounting. The different probe lengths and compatibilities with the level sensors are set out in the following table.

Coaxial pipes are available optionally for use with the level sensors. The probe is inserted into the coaxial pipe which encloses it, so the pipe protects the probe from deposition of dirt. The use of coaxial pipes is recommended where level sensors are used in very soiled media. If material settles on the probe, the probe erroneously registers this as the filling level and no longer functions properly. The coaxial pipe prevents this.
