The mobile network gateway of the minion® enables secure and continuous communication, regardless of existing networks. Via LTE-M or NB-IoT, the captured data is transmitted directly to the cloud of your choice. This way, you always have your sensitive data in view. A localization function and a connection to the smartphone via Bluetooth complete the communication.

The battery of the minion® allows reliable and autonomous monitoring, even in hard-to-reach places. Thanks to efficient energy management, the system solution functions uninterruptedly, without regular maintenance or external power connection.

Frequently asked questions

The minion® can be put into operation in a few minutes. Since the minion® includes gateway, sensor, and power supply, no additional hardware is required. Installation on the machine should be done considering the operating instructions. Additional accessories for mounting may be required.

The runtime of the battery S depends on the configuration of the measurement and transmission intervals and thus on your personal application. In the factory configuration, the minion® measures every 60 minutes and transmits the data once daily to the cloud. The battery life in this case is approximately 700 days.

The first sensor-minion® measures vibrations in all three spatial axes (x, y, z) and sends them to the cloud. The transmission is made according to the ISO20186 standard in the form of various key figures such as v-RMS, a-RMS, a-Peak, a Crest, and temperature.

The minion® available at product launch measures vibration. Sensor-minions of other measuring principles are already in development. If you are interested in a specific measuring principle, please contact us, and we will be happy to tell you more.

The minion® sends your measurement data and alerts directly to autosen.cloud or via an MQTT broker to your own cloud environment. The choice is yours.
