Description
The AA965 sonic tube is screwed to the front of an ultrasonic sensor with M18 thread design. This reduces the shape of the emitted sound beam and at the same time also reduces the maximum range. This prevents objects in the edge area of the sound beam from being detected, for example the container walls during level measurement with ultrasound. The respective change of the sound lobe can be taken from the response curves in the technical data sheet.The respective modification of the sound lobe can be found in the Knowledge section on the article page of the corresponding ultrasonic sensor.
