Description

The IO-Link data splitter AD008, in combination with the Y-jumper AA047, enables simple digitising at sensor level of already existing production plants (brownfield plants). If IO-Link-capable sensors that are operated without an IO-Link master in so-called SIO mode are already being used in the plant, the data splitter can be used via the Y-path. As a result, the information that the sensor has provided in SIO mode is still sent to the PLC. At the same time, another device can be connected to the Y-cable that processes the IO-Link information from the sensor.

As a result, the io-key can tap sensor data from already existing plants and send sensor data to the cloud without interfering with the configuration of the existing plant.
